For over 60 years, Vives and Mari has been a pioneer in the trade of Valencian artistic silk fabrics. An elaborate handmade process which has been passed down from father to son: three generations that have secured at all times the quality of our product.

Vives and Mari is one of the largest textile factories in Spain, and the leading enterprise in the production of traditional Valencian silk fabrics. Its founders, Luis Vives and José Marí, created a small business in the 50s, that gradually transformed into the high-end enterprise that it is today, when Manuel Aznar, Vicente Bayot and Jaime García, were included in its amazing team.

Since 1973, Marí Vives and implements its production of fabrics dedicated to the traditional attires of the Valencian Community In 1999 the production of Espolines was reinstated. The company, known for its exceptional work of unquestionable quality and winner of the 2010 Craftsmanship Award of the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia, is a reference in the Valencian Community as well as the rest of Spain.

Thanks to the remarkable work of our team, and the most modern machinery, the company stands out for its ability to create unique designs and colors, but always respecting the tradition of Valencian silk craftsmanship. In addition, the production of our certified Espolines goes on as it did in ancient times, giving birth to unique, original works of art.

Our production is completed by the departments dedicated to religious settings and haute couture, that are opening the company to the global market and the world of luxury, satisfying the needs of customers both from the US to the UAE.
